Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She was the country's love interest following her win of the American Idol title in the first season of the show. The show's victory that brought Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her an agreement to RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. The singer has since released several studio albums. Three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She has been one of the most popular performers on American Idol. After achieving success, she experimented with different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. The uniqueness of her voice and singing abilities earned her critical praise, as well as several prestigious award. She was awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Aside from her career as a musician, she's seen on TV and in film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. Additionally, she has been active in charity work as well as different organizations.
