Amber Benson hails from the US and is an actress, producer, writer/singer/director. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she has directed, produced and starred for her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on 8 January 1977. Benson has a younger sister Danielle and has a career as an artist.
