Kari Samantha (born April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actress and performer. Her career started when she was still a teenager. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). There are three of her siblings. She started singing at nightclubs as a teenager and would sneak out of her house to sing. The actress studied acting since the age of 13 at the Wooster School. She then pursued acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with famed teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American model, actress and singer. Kari was introduced to acting when she was 13 and got her breakthrough in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
