 Selena Marie Gomez, /s@'li?n@ /goUmez/s@LEEn@ was born on the 22nd of July 1992. She is an American singer, actress, and producer. Gomez began her acting career on the children's show Barney & Friends (2002-2004). As a teenager Gomez gained fame for her portrayal of Alex Russo in the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (1907-2012). Gomez also appeared in several films, including Another Cinderella Story (2008) and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2010). She also starred in Ramona and Beezus (2010) and Spring Breakers (2012). She was also a voice actor for Mavis in Hotel Transylvania (2012-2022). Gomez, through July Moon Productions, executive produced 13 Reasons Why (2017-2022) and Living Undocumented (1919). She also serves as executive producer and stars in the HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef (2020-2022) and the Hulu mystery comedy series Only Murders in the Building (2021-present). The latter has earned Gomez critical praise, and nominations for the Golden Globe Award, and as producer and producer, an Primetime Emmy Award .



 Gomez was a part of Selena Gomez & the Scene and released three albums. The three albums all made it to the top ten on the US Billboard 200. They were all certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album she released as her solo debut, Stars Dance (2013) is atop the U.S. Billboard 200 topped her debut solo album"Stars Dance" (2013). The album's album's lead single, "Come & Get It" made it to the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Gomez has released Revival (2015) as her second studio album. It debuted at the top spot in the US and was later certified platinum. Three top-ten US songs were crafted out of Revival: "Good for You", the "Same Old Love" single and "Hands to Myself". The album that she released her third studio album, Rare (2020), made her the third consecutive album to reach number one in the US and also its first single, "Lose You to Love Me", her first top-ten hit across the US and Canada. Revelacion was her Spanish-language album, was released in 2021. The singer was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. She has won many awards like the 2017 Billboard Woman of the year award. She also broke fifteen Guinness World Records. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential people around the globe in 2020. Her following is huge on social media and is also the most followed actress and musician on Instagram. Gomez has launched fragrance, cosmetics and handbag collections. She has been an UNICEF Ambassador since the age of 17.
